Storm Damage Roof Inspection & Repair on the Coast

The Problem

When you need storm damage

  • Shingles or metal panels lifted, creased or torn off in high wind
  • Debris impact damage after a storm has passed through
  • Water showing up inside days or weeks after the weather cleared
  • No idea whether the roof was actually affected or not

Why it matters

Storm damage does not always announce itself. Wind can crease shingles or back out fasteners without anything looking wrong from the ground, and the leak shows up weeks later once the next rain finds the opening. Getting eyes on the roof after a significant blow is how you find that early, while it is still a repair. Twenty years roofing this coast means we know what wind damage looks like here.

What you get

  • Find out at no cost. Storm inspections are free. There is no reason to wonder about it.
  • Damage is often not visible from the ground. Creased shingles and lifted panels read as fine from the driveway and still let water through.
  • Repair or replace, honestly assessed. Isolated damage gets repaired. A roof that is genuinely finished gets replaced. We will tell you which.
  • Homes and commercial buildings. Single-family, multi-family and commercial properties.

Questions

Storm Damage FAQs

How do I know if my roof was damaged in a storm?

Often you cannot tell from the ground. Wind can crease shingles, back out fasteners or lift a panel edge without anything looking obviously wrong from the driveway. The only reliable answer is to get on the roof and look, which is what the free inspection is for.

Do you charge for a storm damage inspection?

No. Roof inspections are free, storm-related or otherwise.

What do I get after the inspection?

A clear account of what we found on the roof, and a written estimate for the work if any is needed. If the roof came through fine, we will tell you that instead.

Will I need a repair or a whole new roof?

It depends on how widespread the damage is and how much service life the roof had left. Isolated damage on a sound roof is usually a repair. We will show you what we found and give you a straight recommendation either way.

Do you handle storm damage on commercial buildings?

Yes. Commercial and multi-family properties as well as single-family homes.

Which areas do you cover for storm damage?

Hilton Head Island, Beaufort and Bluffton are our primary areas, and we also work in Savannah and Pooler.
